I know that I;m three years younger than all of you so many don't remember me, but I had a lot of fun at many parties that you held (always seemed to have a Jr or Sr boyrfriend. So Sorry to see all the fallen classmates. Especially Ole Olsen (one of those I dated when he wasn't chasing Diane Wann...lol). My kudos to those that put this page together. I wish the 80 grads had done this. Of course that was the year that Sierra closed and all the students came to CalHi (kinda uprooted both classes).  Anway, my best wishes to all of you forever. Thanks for the memories!

The Dan McCloud stories are ripping my heart out. He was the nicest, foxiest guy (yeah, I said it. LOL!) on campus. It must be true that only the good die young. So...what does that say about all of us going to our 33rd high school reunion. We\'re still here. :0
Kidding aside, it just goes to show how fleeting life is. Can any of you believe that it has been 33 yrs since we graduated?  33 years!! OMG! I have children that are older than I was when I graduated. When did we grow up??
Hope to see all your cute faces next week. Helen, aren\'t you glad I told you about this site?

Hi everyone!  I wish I had found this site earlier.  Wow.  I can\'t wait to see you all.  I hope the evening doesn\'t go by too fast.  The football game will really be a walk down memory lane, huh?  I wish we could have "camp" or something and really reconnect.  Hahaha. Living in Whittier all my life, I started out in kindergarten with a lot of you at Valley View, which isn\'t even there anymore!   David Bailey even posts his kindergarten or 1st grade picture as his profile picture on FB.  Too funny.  I love our generation.  Our parents gave us the best gifts:  Respect and morals and work ethics.  Hey, I\'m not saying we didn\'t screw up, but at least we felt bad when we got caught and we cared that we were in trouble  - - right?  It\'s hard to believe we\'ve lost so many precious friends.  Let\'s make the most of our time together.  See you soon!  Love, Helen

Hey Al!!

Back in 1982 I was working for Mirada Hills convalescence homes, they had 7 locations I was over seeing there renovations to the main location in La Mirada. The CEO of the corp found out I was into motorcycles and one day he made a appointment with me to check out the progress that had been made. I\'ll never forget that day for the rest of my life... he took me to a room and there was a young man with dark hair with Popsicle sticks taped to his fingers.. I didn\'t recognize him , the CEO told me that this kid had fallen from a small motorcycle, after a minute I asked him who he was and he said Dan McCloud ... as the weeks an in to months I watched his parents come everyday and sit and talk to him and take care of them, I once told them i had went to school with there son and seemed to make them very happy as a matter of fact Dave Hayes and Phil fry both were working for me there an i later brought them into see him.. it hurt ever day I was there and well after to now he was just lying there with no expression, no emotion .. it hunts me to this day.. God bless Dan and his much loving parents!

Nice to hear from all those others who have been traveling down the journey of life.  Sorry to see all who we have already lost along the way.
I hope to make it to the reunion, at the worst I\'ll be at the Barbe on Sunday.

Touching...Elderly couple walk into my store with a box of records and an aura of sadness .I peruse the records. They do not fit the elderly couple they belong to someone younger, someone my age ...someone perhaps I knew..sadness in their faces sadness in their being..a long drawn out sadness: I can sense I can feel that sadness when I touch the records..untouched unplayed for  25 years yet they kept them because they belonged to someone special to them:.. . I open the live ELP album that spells out ELP when folded out and a name is written on the inside...Dan McCloud...My god!  These are Dan McClouds records..I look up at the couple and say "I knew your son"..They look up at me with tears in their eyes and reach out and take my hand and say "Thank you for remembering our son"
